Town of Palmer, Mass.
The town of Palmer (population 12,584) seeks an experienced individual with in-depth knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to the duties and responsibilities of a full-time (regularly 32 ½ hours) Town Clerk. This position is appointed by the Town Manager and has administrative and supervisory responsibility for providing leadership and general oversight for town, county, state and federal elections; maintains all official records of the town; licensing, vital statistics and records of public meetings.
Candidate should possess excellent communication, organizational, records management, supervisory skills and computer proficiency. Bachelor’s degree with three years of municipal experience, including supervisory and records management or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. Candidate must obtain notary public and municipal clerk certification.
Salary range $43,450 to $54,362 DOQ.
