Massachusetts Town Clerks’ Association
Incorporated July 28, 1954.

“To foster a better acquaintance among the town clerks of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, to assist in developing proper and efficient performance of their duties in respect to the activities of the office and to advance and support sound government; to bring together by conferences or otherwise in furtherance of the fore going objects, the town clerks of this Commonwealth with a view not only to an exchange of ideas but also to the promotion of cooperation in the solution of their common problems; to engage in such other activities tending to bring about a better understanding of Massachusetts town government.”
