The correct candidates are good communicators who are self-starters with the ability to manage projects independently. Fluency in Word, Excel and email are essential.

CMC designation is a big plus. Documented experience working with land records within a municipality is a must. The perfected candidate has five years experience as a town clerk or land records title searcher, or has law firm experience as a clerk or paralegal.

Vital & Legislative Records Supervisor

Grade 16
Starting Pay: $16.80 per hour – plus extensive benefits package
40 hours per week, position may include some evening hours

THE JOB:

Supervises the activities of the vital records operation and active legislative records; and provides clerical administrative support functions, including transcribing minutes, preparing agendas and reports. Performs related duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate’s Degree in Public or Business Administration, or related and five years experience in an office environment, two of which shall have been at the supervisor level; or equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to perform the work. NH Driver’s License or access to transportation is required; ability to obtain Justice of the Peace/Notary Public is required w/in 120 days of employment.

NOTE:

Offer of hire conditional on:

1) candidate’s ability to complete essential job functions, with or without accommodations, as determined by medical exam, and     
2) a negative drug test.
