Plymouth State University in Plymouth, NH is an accredited Institute for Municipal Clerks right in our midst!Through this Institute, Clerks can attain the status of Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) and then continue their education as an Academy member.
The NEACTC has scholarship money available for members to participate in these programs.The annual Conference includes seminars and workshops on topics important to all of us, both professionally and personally.
Committees
Several committees are continually working to provide benefits to all members.The committees study present and future developments in New England.By contacting an officer of the Association, you can obtain information, advice and/or assistance pertaining to your position as Town or City Clerk.
Nowhere else can Municipal Clerks obtain the wealth of knowledge and information available as when meeting together to discuss the usual and unusual problems and solutions we all face.The interaction between the Association and it's members, working together, will benefit all concerned.
Annual Conference
The annual New England Association of City and Town Clerks' conference offers all members the opportunity to meet each other and discuss related problems and solutions, as well as offering timely seminars and personal discussions with knowledgeable speakers.It contributes to the initiation of long-lasting friendships and a general feeling of camaraderie between all clerks in the New England states.Of course, all work and no play does not contribute to a well-rounded clerk and that in mind our conferences are also geared to meet your recreational needs, sending you home with a feeling of enjoyment and personal satisfaction.
